This Sound & Music Sensory Collection supports rich sensory exploration as children engage their hearing, touch and sight senses while experimenting with a variety of instruments. Description

Introduce the Sound & Music Sensory Collection featuring a range of musical instruments to support children’s sensory exploration and self-regulation.

The shakers and tambourine instruments provide rich sensory input through sound, vibrations, and visual movement, supporting sensory integration and helping children regulate their sensory systems.

Musical instruments used across EYFS classrooms offer a valuable form of expression for all children. This carefully selected set is particularly supportive for children who may find verbal communication difficult, providing opportunities to express emotions through sound and rhythm. Music and musical instruments can have a calming effect and help reduce anxiety. For example, the rainmaker instrument produces a gentle, soothing sound to support calming, while the shakers allow children to release energy through physical movement and rhythmic play.

Offer the bright and engaging Sound & Music Collection to support children’s creative expression in the classroom.  Encourage children to use the instruments to follow rhythms and beats, and extend their experience through physical movement - inviting them to dance to the sounds that they create, which can also support children’s self-regulation.

The collection includes a natural woven striped basket to store the musical instruments.
